Some days, the best parts of coming back to MN to work are:
1.) Hanging out with friends who serve mini hotdogs and truffle tots and champagne to help you celebrate. The loveliest, funniest, most generous friends who can make any game an inappropriate game.
And 2.) Walking into my sister’s house late at night and being overwhelmed by that warm, sweet scent of four year old boy skin and sleeping baby and little girls with their books and six year old future heroes.
The smell of kids you love is a very good thing.
