Taylor Mali is a former New York teacher and current traveling slam poet.

One of the missions of the non profit I work for is to honor and invest in educators.

We played this video of Taylor reciting one of his pieces at our board retreat last week and even the most introverted members were on their feet by the end.

Take three minutes and listen to him bellow about “What Teachers Make.” Goddamn right.
